Numerous innovations have shaped KL Druck track record which began more than 125 years ago with the foundation of the „Neographic Institution“ by Wilhelm Kürten in Cologne. | 1896: | Wilhelm Kürten founds a “Neografische Anstalt” („Neographic Institution“) in Cologne |
| 1930: | Development of a patented dry-light copying system |
| 1948: | Inclusion of flat-bed printing and screen printing |
| 1969: | Introduction of offset printing |
| 1982: | Rudolf August Kürten invents the pathbreaking screen-printing squeegee for reproducible halftone screen printing |
| 1992: | KL Druck commissions the first digital printing machine and becomes an authorised 3M Scotchprint processor |
| 1996: | Rolf Kürten takes over the management in the anniversary year |
